Funeral services for Shirley M. Hennen of Ruth are noon on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Ruth Cemetery in Ruth. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hennen, 80, died March 13, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Oceola, La., on June 27, 1933, to Charles B. Moffitt and Susie Williams Moffitt.

She was a retired statistical clerk at the A&P Tea Company. She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and two sisters, Jean Raiford and Alder Alford.

Survivors are her husband, William N. Hennen of Ruth; two sons, Charles T. Hennen and wife, Anna, of Ruth, and David M. Hennen and wife, Nancy, of St. Rose, La.; one grandson, Brian David Hennen; one brother, James W. Moffitt and wife, Rose Allen Moffitt; and numerous nieces and newphews.
