SENATOBIA – The Northwest Rangers defeated Co-Lin in recent tennis action in Senatobia. In men’s action, the Wolfpack fell 7-2 while the Lady Wolves lost 6-3.

In the most exciting match of the day, Co-Lin’s Brandon Nettles defeated Weldon Meng of Northwest 7-5, 1-6 (10-7) at No. 4 singles. Picking up the other win for the Wolfpack was Coleman Carraway who defeated Weston Hood 6-3, 7-5.

The Lady Wolves picked up two wins in singles action and one in doubles play. Melody Smith defeated Anna Rosenbaum of Northwest 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Caroleah Brister defeated Julia Roberson 6-3, 6-4 at No. 6 singles. In doubles action, Savannah Brister and Allie Dear defeated Julia Roberson and Madison Jarrell of Northwest 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Co-Lin will travel to Jones County today, matches begin at 2 p.m.
