TERRY – The Brookhaven Lady Panthers suffered a hard fought 9-2 loss to Terry Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night in softball action.

The Lady Panthers (5-8) will be in action today as they prepare to host the North Pike Lady Jaguars. Junior varsity action begins at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6 p.m.

Terry 9, Brookhaven 2 

Katherine Shell absorbed the setback on the mound for the Lady Panthers with eight strikeouts and one walk.

Shell was also the offensive leader at the plate for Brookhaven with a double. Jada Henderson, Kat Wallace and Alycen Speaks hit safely.

In junior varsity action,  Terry blanked Brookhaven 5-0.

Madison Thompson (1K, 2BB) pitched for the Lady Panthers. Fallon Brooks recorded the only hit for Brookhaven with a single.
