Funeral services for Lou Ellen Shelton of Copiah County are 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Shelton Family Cemetery, Copiah County. Elder Jerald Williams will be officiating. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Bude.

Mrs. Shelton, 76, died March 25, 2014, at Adams County Nursing Center. She was born on June 22, 1937, in Copiah County to James and Ellen Watson Kissel.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Charlie Shelton; grandparents; and one grandson, James Shelton.

Survivors are her daughter, Margaret Shelton; grandson, Jerry Shelton; great-grandson, Charlie Shelton; sister, Mary Jane Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
