Funeral services for Kathy Marie Blue of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at New Vision Fellowship Center, Brookhaven, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 1, 2014, from 1 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Blue, 60, died March 26, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 28, 1954, in Jackson to Curtis Williams and Pinky Blue.

She attended Alexander High School.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Michael Blue; grandparents, Abe and Ella Blue; brother, Shelton Blue Sr.; and great-granddaughter, A’Keira Hooks.

Survivors are her daughters, Joan Blue of Brookhaven, Marlo Blue and friend, Deangeloando Gilmore, both of Brookhaven; sons, Sammie Blue and wife, Gayle, Anthony Blue, James Blue and wife, Laceta, all of Brookhaven; sisters, Coleen Sanders of Clinton, Shelia Williams of Vicksburg, Joyce Rice and husband, Larry, of Brookhaven, Sharon Byther of Jackson; brothers, Dennis Williams and wife, Patsy, Michael Williams, Frankie Williams, Kenneth Williams and Richard Vance and wife, Cynthia, all of Brookhaven; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
