BOGUE CHITTO – Monday night was another perfect evening for softball at Bogue Chitto High School. After the rain last night, the cooler temperatures came in to make the evening perfect. The Lady Cats managed to overcome three errors in the fifth inning to lead the Lady Hornets to victory. The Lady Cats (12-5, 4-0) will be back in action Tuesday night to take on the Flashes of St. Aloysius. The games will occur in the big town of Vicksburg, MS.

Loyd Star 4, Bogue Chitto 1

The Lady Hornets were able to get on base pretty quick, but the Lady Cats defense was able to make sure nobody else got on base or crossed home plate. The Lady Cats came out of the gates and got the bases loaded right off the bat. But just like the Lady Cats defense, the Lady Hornets were able to fight through the challenge to get out of the inning without letting any runs come across home plate.
