The Loyd Star tennis team traveled to Columbia Thursday to play East Marion in the first round of state playoffs. Coach Hart’s Hornets defeated East Marion 5-2 to advance to the second round of the playoffs.

Loyd Star returns home to host Taylorsville, Thursday at the Brookhaven City Courts starting at 2:30 p.m.
