TERRY – The Enterprise Yellow Jackets suffered a tough 10-0 loss to the Terry Bulldogs last Friday night in baseball action.
“Terry has a good team, but I felt like we didn’t give our best effort,” said Enterprise coach Cass Brister. “We walked too many batters and put ourselves in a big hole early. After we started to settle down, we managed to play much better. Our at-bats were horrible, but I give credit to their pitcher for keeping us off balance. Overall, we need to step it up if we want to make a run in the playoffs.”
The Jackets (10-10, 8-2) begin their Class 2A playoffs Thursday after receiving an opening round bye in the first round last week. Enterprise will host Union in a battle of Yellowjackets. Game time is set to start at 6 p.m.
