Memorial services for Iva Lois Smith are noon on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Damascus Baptist Church in Franklin County with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Smith, 85, died May 4, 2014, at the Liberty Community Living Center, Liberty. She was born on June 4, 1928, to Cameron and Ruby Wooten.

Iva was an active member of Damascus Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 61 years, Delton W. Smith; son, Darrell Willis Smith; and daughter, Debra Smith Fugler.

Survivors are her sons, Gary Lynn Smith and wife, Winona, of Baton Rouge, and Randy Carroll Smith of Brookhaven; sister, Lavelle Scott of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Justin Smith, Staci Ard, David Smith, and Daniel Smith; two great-grandchildren, Evan Ard and Mazie Smith.
