Funeral services for Willie Lee Castilaw of Vidor, Texas, formerly of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.
Mrs. Castilaw, 95, died May 2, 2014, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on April 20, 1919, in Arcola, Louisiana to Jack Cleveland and Mary Dunaway Cleveland Norton.
She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church of Brookhaven.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, George Castilaw; sisters, Helen Nixon, Elsie Adams, and Toy Norton; granddaughter, Linda St. Cyr; and infant granddaughter, Casey Castilaw; an infant great-grandson; and an infant great-granddaughter, Kelsi Myers.
Survivors are her three sons, Charles Edward Castilaw and wife, Linda, George David Castilaw and wife, Bonny; and John Paul Castilaw and wife, Sue, all of Vidor, Texas; three daughters, Mary Ellen Louviere of Vidor, Texas, Shirley White and husband, Bill, of Las Vegas, and Kathy Harris and husband, Mike, of Woodville, Texas; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Aileen Robinson of Bogue Chitto.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellman Baptist Church cemetery fund in memory of Mrs. Castilaw.
