Funeral Services for Bobby Joe Alexander of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Southway Baptist Church with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, June 5, 2014, from noon until time of service at Southway Baptist Church.

Mr. Alexander, 70, died June 2, 2014, at University Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 22, 1943, to John and Helen Alexander.

He was a dental supplies and equipment sales rep for 46 years. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of Southway Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Deena Alexander; and daughters, Kimberly Alexander of Jackson, Courtney Heikes and husband, Ryan, of Wichita, Kansas and Renee Reed also of Jackson; five grandchildren, Samantha Reed, William Reed, Skyla Reed, Hannah Reed and Barrett Heikes; 24 British Labradors and one Golden Retriever.
