Funeral Services for Frances Pauline Kirkland of Liberty are 10 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Tower Hill Church with burial in New Zion Cemetery, Liberty. The Rev. Allan Touchstone and the Rev. Douglas Akins will be officiating. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday June 5, 2014, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Tower Hill Church and again Friday, June 6 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Kirkland, 70, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at University Medical Center, Jackson. She was born on Sept. 13, 1943, in Tylertown to Willie Leon White, Sr. and Mary Frances McElwee White.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Frances’ love was being surrounded by her grandchildrend and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Raymond J. Kirkland Sr.; and one son, Timothy Scott Kirkland.
Survivors are her three sons, Raymond J. Kirkland Jr. and wife, Evelyn E. Kirkland, David R. Kirkland and wife, Frances Renee Kirkland, Brian G. Kirkland and wife, Angela D. Kirkland; eight grandchildren, Brandon Kirkland, Amanda Storey, Colby Kirkland, Reagan Kirkland, Aaden Kirkland, Gabby Kirkland, Ford Kirkland and Katelyn Kirkland; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy White and Butch White and wife, Jo White; one sister, Sue Sullivan and husband, Gary Sullivan; and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
