Eugene Daughdrill, of Monticello, and Julia Sanders, of Hazelhurst, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Brenda Sha Faulkner, of Wesson, to Ryan G. Coghlan, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Garland and Rose Coghlan, also of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of the late Carol Jackson, of Wesson, the late Lillian Barlow, of Brookhaven, Ermanel Harrington, of Brookhaven, and the late Denver and Virginia Daughdrill, of Crystal Springs.

He is the grandson of the late Leon and Frances Wallace, of Franklin County, the late Luther Frank Coghlan, of Smithdale, and the late L. E. Coghlan of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect attended the Wesson Attendance Center. She is currently employed at the Shop N Wash.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and attended one year at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently employed at Miller Mechanical.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Little Bahala Baptist Church where the reception will immediately follow.
