Melanie Lewis and , of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Charita Martina Lewis, of Brookhaven, to Jerry Lewis Tobias, of Brookhaven. She is also the daughter of Merlin Littleton.

He is the son of Larry and Sharon Guynes, of Hazelhurst.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. Charlie Lewis and the late Rita Lewis, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Earlean and the late Troy Grayer, of Hazelhurst.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Hazelhurst High School.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Lincoln Civic Center. A reception will follow at the Lincoln Civic Center.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
