Steve and Wendy Smith, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Elizabeth Smith, of Brookhaven, to Kirk M. Davis, of Hollandale.

He is the son of Larry and Carol Davis, of Hollandale.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith, of Brookhaven, and the late Wayne and Ruth Mullen, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Frankie Merril and the late William Merrill, of Hollandale, and the late Cecil and Nell Davis, of Hollandale.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in education.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Greenville Christian Academy and a 2011 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. He is currently employed at Purvis Upper Elementary in Purvis.

The couple will exchange vows at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at The Chapel of Memories on Mississippi State University’s campus. A reception will follow at the Hunter Henry Center on Mississippi State University’s campus.
