Funeral Services for Eva Terrell Pullen of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Brookhaven with visitation one hour prior to the funeral with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.
Mrs. Pullen died June 8, 2014, in Brandon. She was born on May 5, 1923, in McCall Creek to William and Arie Lofton Terrell.
Eva was a longtime resident of Brookhaven and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a greeter, chairman of the flower committee and a member of the Sanctuary Choir. She was an exceptional cook, and her love of flowers was known throughout Brookhaven. Eva’s strong faith was evident throughout her entire life.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Lester Terrell, Roy Terrell, Junius Terrell and Clyde Terrell; sisters, Mayford McCall, Donis Newell, Leona Smith and Faye Moore; son-in-law, Robert Webb.
Survivors are her children; Debbie Pullen Webb and William Terrell Pullen “Susie”; grandchildren, Amy Stanley “Chris”, Ashley Pullen, Jennifer Cole “Chris” and Amanda Ladnier “John”; five great-grandchildren, Austin, Blake, Hailey, Alysa and Chris; sister, Regina McGraw Hinote of Mobile, Alabama; brother, Linton Terrell of Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Eddie Moak, the staff of Sta-Home, Southern Care and Emeritus at Heritage House for their dedicated care during Mrs. Pullen’s illness.
