Funeral Services for John D. Tarver of Wesson are 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Spring Hill Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Tarver, 45, died June 16, 2014. He was born on Nov. 25, 1969, to James E. Tarver Sr. and Maxine Walker Tarver.

He was the owner of Peak-Performance Heating & Air-conditioning, receiving Business of the Year, 2012 Rheem Top Contractor and Houston Service Training Certificate of Award and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; and brother, James E. Tarver Jr.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Tarver; mother; sons, Blake Tarver, Jacob Tarver; daughter, Lacie Tarver; brothers, Ken Tarver, Mark Tarver; and sisters, Kathy Tarver, Claudette Tarver and Brenda Price.
