Lincoln County resident, Scott Gill, 25, was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of child pornography.

In a press release Friday from the office of state Attorney General Jim Hood, the Cyber Crime Unit’s investigation revealed Gill was allegedly trafficking images of child exploitation, which led to a search warrant being executed at his residence.

Gill is currently being held at the Lincoln County jail. If convicted, he could face up to 40 years, according to Hood.
