NATCHEZ – The Lincoln County Americans and Nationals Coach-Pitch seven-year-old All-Stars suffered tough defeats in their opening debut Friday night in the District 6 Tournament at Duncan Park.

The Nationals were out matched by the McComb Americans falling 22-0 in the opener. In the nightcap, the Nationals fought hard in an offensive hitting clinic, but fell short at the end, losing to the Walthall County All-Stars 17-12.

In Saturday game, the Lincoln County Americans eliminated the Lincoln County Nationals 14-4 in the opener of the loser’s bracket to stay alive. The Lincoln Americans were still alive when they took on Natchez in the nightcap.
