Funeral Services for Sarah Lynn Linton of Terry are 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with burial in Terry Cemetery. Chancellor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 1 p.m. until time of service at Chancellor Funeral Home.

Mrs. Linton, 80, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, in Brookhaven. She was born in McAdams and spent most of her life in Terry to Owen and Lucille Gilbert.

After 35 years, she retired from Hancock Fabric. Sarah was an excellent seamstress and example of a Christian mother and she loved and adored her son-in-laws.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William “Dub” Linton; grandson, Soloman Eli Linton; and son-in-law, Larry Craft.

Survivors are her children, Barbara Lynn “Eddie” Calcote of Brookhaven, Patricia “Johnny” King of Wesson, Dallas Ray Linton Sr. of Terry, and Vickie Craft of Pearl; sister, Carolyn Braswell of Terry; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren who referred to her affectionately as Mamaw Sabe.
