Funeral Services for James L. Clark of Ruth are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Harrigill Chapel with burial in Ruth Cemetery in Ruth. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.

Mr. Clark, 83, died June 28, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on May 19, 1931, in Pike County to Ralph Clark Sr. and Nettie Roberts Clark.

He was retired from Kellwood Company in 1998 and worked for Clifton Clark Company in Ruth. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Edris Boyd Clark; six brothers, Carl Clark, Hugh Clark, C.P. Clark, Jack Clark, Junior Clark and Claude Clark; one sister, Edna Merle Clark.

Survivors are his daughters, Vicky C. Lahm and husband, Dr. Robert Lahm of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Tammy Clark of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Ondean C. Wilkes of Richland, Virginia, Ruby C. Brister of Jayess, Rhoda C. Boyd of Ruth; and two grandchildren, Alexandria Lahm and Robert Lahm.
