Monitoring gas leak

DAILY LEADER / KATIE WILLIAMSON / Firefighters monitor a gas leak at the corner of South Railroad Avenue and East Chippewa Street Wednesday afternoon. Sylvester Williams said he was in the driveway of a friend's home when the brakes went out on his car. The car then moved forward, colliding with the house's gas line. The gas leak was audible within a hundred yards of the pipe. Williams immediately called the police.
