Graveside Services for Marion Davis of Bogue Chitto are 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Bogue Chitto Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Davis, 94, died Aug. 1, 2014, at Kentwood Manor Nursing Home. He was born on Oct. 22, 1919, to Charlie and Maggie Davis.

He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Jaunita Magee Davis; brothers, Clyde Davis, Travis Davis and Floyd Davis; and sister, Charlene Welch.

Survivors are his son, Gary Davis and wife, Amanda; daughter, Patsy Reeves and husband, Russell; four grandchildren, Jeffery S. Reeves, Chris Davis and wife, Emily, Russ Reeves and wife, Kim, Jennifer Clark and husband, Brittan; and six great-grandchildren.
