DAILY LEADER / KATIE WILLIAMSON / Work crews take over an area on West Chickasaw Street to replace drainage culverts Thursday. The project began two weeks ago and will most likely continue a few more weeks, according to Steve Moreton, director of public works for the city of Brookhaven. Workers will be inserting culverts and pouring concrete over bricks in the drainage tunnel across the street. Moreton said there are no other similar projects planned.
