Elma A. Honea Dykes

<ParaStyle:Obit Copy> Funeral Services for Elma A. Honea Dykes of Sontag are 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, from 12:30 until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Dykes, 92, died Sept. 6, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 28, 1921, to Thomas R. Honea and Myrtis Evans Honea.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Isaac Dykes; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are her two sons, Jerry Dykes and wife, Nancy, and Danny Dykes and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Carole Bass, Justin Bass, Dana Phillips, Bryant Phillips and David Dykes; great-grandchildren, Avery Bass, Luke Phillips and Ben Phillips; and several other family members and close friends.
