DAILY LEADER / KATIE WILLIAMSON / Brookhaven Elementary School students participate in International Walk to School Day Wednesday to promote health, safety and the environment. Parents, teachers, government officials, the fire department and police department accompanied students. The group began their commute at 7:25 a.m. in the Fred's parking lot on Whitworth Avenue.
