Funeral Services for Ora Mae Scott are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Bude Church of God with burial in Greendale United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Daniel Smith, Bro. Melvin Watson, and Bro. Lamar Burkholder will officiate. Pallbearers are Matthew Scott, Christopher Scott, Eric Rollins, Chris Smith, Mike Shelton, and Jordan Anderson. Honorary pallbearer is Justin Ezell. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continue Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, from 9 a.m. until time of service at Bude Church of God.

Mrs. Scott, 74, died Oct. 8, 2014, at her daughter’s residence in Wiggins. She was born on Feb. 24, 1940, in Franklin County to Leon R. and Irene Gammill Watson.

She was a member of the Bude Church of God where she served as their pianist and was active in the choir. She was a homemaker that provided a warm and loving home for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert S. Scott Sr.; sister, Ruby Nell Shelton; and brother, Arthur Dale Watson.

Survivors are her daughters, Debra Scott Applewhite and husband, Art, of Wiggins, and Betty Sue Scott Ezell and husband, Rickey, of Roxie; son, Robert S. Scott Jr. and wife, Rebecca, of Roxie; brothers, Thomas Floyd Watson and RV Missionary Melvin Watson; grandchildren, Christy Anderson and husband, Jordan, Eric Rollins and wife, Shere, Amy Smith and husband, Chris, Justin Ezell and wife, Tracy, Kelsey Ezell, Christopher Scott, and Matthew Scott; great-grandchildren, Jackson Anderson, Tristin Rollins, Fisher Rollins, Palyn Mae Smith, Megan Ezell and Cole Ezell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
