BOGUE CHITTO – The Bogue Chitto Lady Cats opened the 2014-15 basketball season with a 71-43 victory over the McLaurin Lady Tigers Thursday night in basketball action.

“It is good to get the 2014-15 season started with a win,” said BC coach Christi Terrell. “The girls hustled and played hard. We started the game off a little nervous by making some poor decisions early and missed a lot of easy shots. We managed to settle down during the contest and played a lot better. Overall, I’m proud of these girls and the effort they gave.”

Bogue Chitto will return to action Thursday and host the West Lincoln Bears and Lady Bears for four games. Junior high action tips off at 4 and 5 p.m., followed by the varsity games.
