It was a great night for the green and white on Monday at Jack Case Gymnasium as West Lincoln’s junior high basketball teams swept Enterprise in four games.

In the 7th grade girls game, West Lincoln hung on for a 12-11 win. Julianna Crosby led the Lady Bears with 8 points. Gracie Knight and Kristen Walker each had 4 points for Enterprise.

In the 7th grade boys game, West Lincoln rolled to a 47-10 win. Michael Brotherns led the Bears with 9 points, while Keshon Byrd and Karlton Byrd provided 8 points apiece. Enterprise was led by Wyatt Burns and Dylan Vaughn’s 3 points each.

West Lincoln’s junior high girls led from start to finish and cruised to a 54-21 victory. Megan Gerald sank 14 points, and Skylar Hall provided 12 points for the Lady Bears. Enterprise was led by Breyuana Johnson’s 5 points.

After a slow start, West Lincoln’s junior high boys ran away from the Jackets in the 2nd half on the way to a 59-28 win. Michael Brotherns led the Bears with 18 points. Matthew Messer pumped in 10 points, and Garrison Coffey netted 9 points for West Lincoln. JaDarrion Allen provided 12 points for the Jackets.

West Lincoln’s junior high teams return to action Thursday for a pair of games at Bogue Chitto beginning at 4:00. The junior high games will be followed by a pair of varsity contests at 6:00 and 7:30.
