In the story 5AA All-District selection, appearing in Sunday’s edition of The DAILY LEADER, inadvertently left out Garrett Paced being selected as the Most Valuable Linemen in 5AA All-District selection.

The Brookhaven Academy defensive end received great honors as he was chosen to represent his school in Dec. 5 MAIS All-Star game. Pace also earned first team honors.

Pace recorded 97 tackles in his senior year and had six quarterback sacks, eight hurries, two forced fumbles, one blocked punt and one interception. In the All-Star games, Pace had four tackles.

The North All-Stars defeated the South All-Star 21-13 at Jackson Prep Academy in Flowood.
