Funeral Services for Addell Pierce Hall of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.
Mrs. Hall, 101, died Dec. 14, 2014, at her residence. She was born on June 7, 1913, in Claiborne County to Hiram E. Pierce and Anna Caldonia Varnado Pierce.
She was a retired cafeteria worker having worked at McCall Creek School and Franklin County School cafeterias. She was a member of McCall Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, R.K. Hall; daughter-in-law, Patsy Day Hall; son-in-law, Paul C. Gill; three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors are her daughter, Doris Gill of Brookhaven; two sons, Ernest H. Hall and wife, Frances, of Brookhaven, Jessie R. Hall and wife, Mary Janet, of Kenner, Louisiana; one sister, Gladys Marie Hynum of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved Chihuahua dog, “Belle”.
