Funeral Services for Thelma Brown Adams of McCall Creek are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at St. Paul Baptist Church with burial in St. Luke Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, from 11 a.m. until time of service at St. Paul Baptist Church.

Mrs. Adams, 84, died Dec. 15, 2014, in Quentin. She was born on May 28, 1930, in Hazlehurst to Rovie and Rosetta Brown.

She was a devoted member of Outreach Ministry.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Shirley Brown; two brothers, Mitchell Brown and Charles McDonald; and five sisters, Vergie Lee Green, Lorraine Davis, Elizabeth Brown, Rosie Brown and Bernice Brown.

Survivors are her husband, Curtis W. Adams; five daughters, Dianne McDowell of Los Angeles, California, JoAnn McDowell of El Cajon, California, Connie Adams of Corona, California, Darlene Adams of McCall Creek and Yvonne Bone of Fontana, California; two sons, Robert Brown of Los Angeles, California and DeAndre Adams of North Hollywood, California; one sister, Annice Brown of Los Angeles, California; one brother, James Brown of Los Angeles, California; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
