Funeral Services for Mr. Frank Quinn of South Holland, Illinois (formerly of Brookhaven) are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at St James M.B. Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Bishop Larry D. Trotter of the Sweet Holy Spirit Church in Chicago, Illinois will officiate. Wells and Wells Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, from 1 until 2 p.m.

Mr. Quinn, 89, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at Ingalls Hospital, in Harvey, Illinois. He was born on March 29, 1925, to the late Adolph and Annie Quinn.

He was retired from the “City of Chicago” and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a faithful member of Sweet Holy Spirit Church as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Clastine Jackson, Myrtis Richardson and Mildred Quinn; brothers, Lucuis Quinn, Ralph Quinn and Roy Quinn.

Survivors are his wife, Lola Quinn of 68 years; daughters, Shirley Morgan and Suzette Quinn of Chicago, Illinois and Gail (Larry) Winters of Brookhaven; sons, Frank Quinn Jr (Annette) of Kenner, Louisiana, Marvin (Carol) Quinn and Runell (Danette) Quinn of Chicago, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Edwina Washington of Chicago, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
