Funeral Services for Cynthia Ann Martin of Bogue Chitto are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. Martin, 59, died Dec. 30, 2014, at University Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on July 25, 1955, in Jackson to Jimmy Odom and Shirley Ann McClendon Odom.

She was a devoted housewife and mother who loved her family and was of Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ernest Martin; and her sister, Tammy.

Survivors are her two daughters, April Melissa Alvey of Brookhaven and Brandy Posey of Gulfport; one son, Ernie D. Martin of Brookhaven; her sister, Pamela Bigner of Kentwood, Louisiana; her brothers, Jimmy Odom and Richard Odom, both of Tennessee, Larry Odom of Oregon and Kenneth Odom of Mississippi; her brother-in-law, Dan Martin of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Ashlyn Burns, Chloe Burns, Hayden Burns, Paisley Alvey and Charli-ana Posey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the COPD Foundation in memory of Cindy Martin.
