Funeral Services for Nell Hedgepeth Watson of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, from 11 a.m. until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Watson, 72, died Dec. 30, 2014, at Silver Cross Health and Rehab Center. She was born on May 9, 1942, to John C. Hedgepeth and Argedine Thames Hedgepeth.

She was retired from the State Health Department where she worked as a secretary and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Helen Ham, Claudine Purl, Maxine Saunders; brothers Joseph W. (Dub) Hedgepeth, Denny Hedgepeth, Lee Hedgepeth and John P. Hedgepeth.

Survivors are her husband, Larry Royce Watson; brother Joe H. Hedgepeth and wife, Jackie; sisters-in-law, Lucy Hedgepeth and Thelma Hodges and husband, Clarmon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
