Funeral Services for Jackie Falvey Philliber are 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. An additional funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Philliber, Bruce Falvey, Jeremy Reed, Joshua Reed, David Parish and Barry Philliber. Delhomme Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Mississippi.

Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, from 4 until 9 p.m. at Delhomme Funeral Home, on Bertrand in Lafayette.

Mrs. Philliber, 58, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

She was a devout Christian and faithful in her love of God. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend; very witty and had a fun, positive personality. Mrs. Philliber always put others before her and spread her positive outlook on everyone who crossed her path. She was passionate about fashion and decorating, having owned her own interior decorating business, Details in Design. Mrs. Phillber will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles Kenneth and Martha Smith Falvey.

Survivors are her husband of 17 years, Joey Philliber; one daughter, Ragan Philliber; one brother, Bruce Falvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
