Funeral Services for Jimmy Franklin Leggett of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church and will continue Tuesday morning until time of service.

Mr. Leggett, 65, died Jan. 30, 2015, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 13, 1949, in Brookhaven to Barney Leggett and Mildred McCaffery Leggett.

Mr. Leggett was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He was a retired phlebotomist having worked at various labs. He was of Baptist faith and also operated Olivia’s Greenhouse in Bogue Chitto. He loved attending basketball games and was a big supporter of Bogue Chitto Bobcats basketball teams.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his nephew, Shane Case.

Survivors are his brother, John Wayne Leggett and wife, Frankie, of Bogue Chitto; his sister, Brenda Case of Brookhaven; his four nephews, Josh Leggett and wife, Neisha, Jason Leggett and wife, Jenny, Jesse Leggett and wife, Ashley, all of Bogue Chitto; Dr. Ryan Case and wife, Wendie, of Brookhaven and by a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
