Funeral Services for Myrtice A. Leonard of Wesson are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Wesson Baptist Church with burial in Little Bahalia Baptist Church Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.

Mrs. Leonard, 88, died Feb. 2, 2015, at her residence. She was born on May 12, 1926, in Prentiss to Henry Hamilton and Lena McCray Hamilton.

She was a dairy farmer and a member of Wesson Baptist Church. She went to Carson High School and attended Pearl River Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Curtis “Buddy” Leonard; brother, Rulus Hamilton; and sister, Geneva Martin.

Survivors are her daughters, June Owen and husband, Barry, of Wesson, Marilyn Barker and husband, Jimmy, of Wesson; brother, Shelby Hamilton of Columbia; sister, Johnnie Martin of Silver Creek; and four grandchildren, Lee Owens and wife, Ashley, Matt Owens, Katie Buckles and husband, Brad, and Rebecca Barker.
