Four Midwestern college baseball teams will be playing at Harold Williams Ballpark at Brookhaven Academy which started this morning with three games and be wrapping up with a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday.
Weather in the Midwest has caused several cancellations for these four teams effectively “snowing out” many of their regular season games.
The fours teams are National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) 25th ranked William Woods University (Mo.), Calumet College of St Joe (Ind.), Williams Baptist University (Ark.) and Central Methodist University (Mo.).
The schedule begins with William Woods vs. Calumet at 10 a.m. Later today, Williams Baptist will play a “Holy War” doubleheader against Central Methodist beginning at 4 p.m.
In Saturday action, the “Holy War” continues between Williams Baptist and Central Methodist at noon followed by two games between William Woods and Calumet, the first of which will be approximately at 6 p.m. Sunday (1 p.m.) will be used as an “if necessary” game in case of inclement weather. Admission will be charged for this event and concessions will be available.
