WIGGINS – The Bogue Chitto Lady Cats suffered two tough losses in Saturday softball action in Stone County’s Tournament.

The Lady Cats lost 3-0 to East Central in the opener and lost a 1-0 nail biter to Stone County in the second game.

“We are still shaking off the rust to try to get back into the swing of things,” BC coach Scott Leggett said. “Overall, the girls played hard. Our pitching was fantastic in both games and the defensive was good. We just could not get the base hits that we needed.”
