Funeral Services for James “Jim” Martin Calcote Sr. are 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, at Bradford- O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport.

Visitation is Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Bradford- O’Keefe Funeral Home.

Mr. Calcote, 81, died Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born on Oct. 31, 1933 in Lucien.

He lived in Gulfport and worked as a program manager in information technology at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi until retiring in 2005.

He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Calcote; and siblings, Louise Moore, Richard Calcote, Flora Byrd, Nellie Denman, Elsie White, Dorothy Poole, David Calcote and Robert Earl Calcote.

Survivors are his sisters Dorothy Poole and Ruth Way;  sons, Steve Dowst, Michael Dowst Sr., Mark Calcote and James Calcote Jr. (Jay); daughter Marsha Evans; grandchildren, Michael Dowst Jr., Megan Calcote, Cade Calcote, Shane Evans, Ryan Calcote, Ashley Calcote, Robert Evans and Aaron Calcote; great-grandchild, Carson Dowst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
