The Brookhaven Lady Panthers pushed their winning streak to seven games after defeating the Terry Lady Bulldogs 9-0 Tuesday night in fastpitch softball action.
“The girls came out and hit the ball a lot better today,” said BHS coach Mandy Vinson. “Our approach at the plate continues to get better each game as we only struck out twice in the contest. Overall, I was very pleased with the girls’ effort. Katherine Shell also pitched a great game.”
The Lady Panthers (7-0) will be in action today as they prepare to the Natchez Lady Bulldogs for their first Region 6-5A test. Junior varsity action begins at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.
