Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Richardson Segers will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with interment at Easthaven Cemetery. 

Visitation for family and friends will be at Riverwood beginning at 10 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday.

Mrs. Segers, 88, of Knightdale, North Carolina, formerly of Brookhaven and Newellton, Louisiana, passed away March 20, 2015 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina. She was born April 12, 1926 to William McKinley Richardson and Ruby Mae Roberts Richardson.

Mrs. Segers was a seamstress and a member of Newellton Garden Club. She was also a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roy E. Segers; daughter, Susan E. Segers; grandson, Royce E. Segers; and ex-husband, Versie Segers Jr.

Survivors are her son, William D. Segers and wife, Dona; daughters, Jane Segers Catalano and husband, Mike, Sarah Segers Bilowus and husband, David; brother, Roy Richardson and wife, JoAnn; sister, Eva Dee Richardson Rodriquez; eight grandchildren, Lydia Segers, Versie Phillip Segers, Madeleine Segers, Connie Segers Watkins and husband, Marty, Darla Segers Shaw and husband, Gary, William David Segers, Emily Rose Catalano Corazza and husband, Alex, Andrew Bilowus; and 10 great-grandchildren, Giselle Saldana, Vance Hughes, Orion Hughes, Kayla Watkins, Austin Watkins, Abby Watkins, Dylan Shaw, Shelby Shaw, Hunter Segers and McCall Segers.
