The funeral service for Mr. Eunice Jerry Hughes will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. 

Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 at Riverwood.

Mr. Hughes, 66, died April 5, 2015 in Jackson. He was born May 26, 1948 to E.J. Hughes and Era Lee Johnson Hughes. He worked as a plumber in the construction business, and he served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Hughes was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Darren Lee Hughes; and sister, Judith Gerald.

He is survived by his wife Linda Faye Barber Hughes; sons, John Christopher Hughes and wife, Christy, Mark Allen Hughes, Matthew Todd Hughes and wife, Crystal; brothers, Ted Hughes, David Hughes and wife, Kay; sisters, Elizabeth Whittington and husband, Jack, Sheila Hughes Smith, Patricia Blalock and husband Wayne; and four grandchildren.
