Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Marc Gregoire will be officiating the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Brookhaven, on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
Ethel M. Rutledge, 73, of Hattiesburg, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She went to be with the Lord after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Mrs. Rutledge was born July 27, 1941 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Leo and Bernice Dronette Landry. She was a retired school cafeteria server at Silliman Institute in Clinton, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Bernice Dronette Landry; husband, Belvard E. Rutledge; and brother, Harold Landry.
Survivors are her sons, Marc Gregoire and wife, Anita, of Clinton, and Glen Gregoire and wife, Bonnie, of Bridge City, Texas; daughters, Lynn Gregoire Theriot and husband, Rodney, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Kim Gregoire Matheus of Petal; sister, Maxine Gregoire of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Gregoire Bostwick and husband, Tony, Bethanie Gregoire Redmond and husband, Robert, Joseph Gregoire and wife, Chantelle, Dustin Gregoire and wife, Kathy, Ashley Gregoire, Danielle Theriot Bennett and husband, David, and Jonathan Matheus; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Preston, Kayde, DeWayne, Leslie, Jean, David, Nova and Ruby; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Richard Gregoire, Kevin Gregoire, Dustin Gregoire, Joseph Gregoire, Jonathan Matheus, David Bennett, Robert Redmond and Tony Bostwick.
