Olivia Lofton joins Southwest cheer

Olivia Lofton is taking her skills to the next level. Brookhaven Academy’s cheerleader has signed a cheerleader letter of intent with the Southwest Community Junior College Bears.

Olivia, signed her official papers Tuesday in the Brookhaven Academy Library. She is the daughter of Karey “Butch” and DeeDee Lofton.

Olivia Lofton mentioned that she wants to pursue a career in nursing.

“I am very proud of Olivia for accomplishing her goals,” said Brookhaven Academy cheer coach Valarie Oglesby. “Her hard work and dedication definitely paid off. I know she will be a great asset on her new squad.”
