Funeral services for Kelly R. Allen are 2 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service. 

Visitation is 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, and will resume Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mr. Allen, 49, of Bogue Chitto died May 13, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born Jan. 30, 1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Aubiegene Bufford Allen and Sandra Farlow Allen.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a true Saints fan since childhood. Kelly loved people, he felt it was his obligation to try and make this world a better place to live, and he did. He loved God and his family above all other things.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Allen.

Survivors are his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Oliver Allen; parents; sons, Chris Ward and Joshua Allen; daughters, Katelyn Allen, Liz McDaniel and husband Aaron; brother, Keith Allen; sister, Karolyn Inman; two grandchildren, Aaron Trace and Bella Grace; four nieces, Haley, Alexis, Rebecca and Gabriella; and two nephews, Colton and Matthew.
