Graveside services for Gladys Marie Allen will be held at a later date in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton, Texas is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Allen of Dallas, Texas, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. She was born to Larcus and Essie Brewer in Samantha, Alabama. She married Oliver Reynolds Allen.

She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Jacksonville, Florida.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; and a brother, Luther Brewer.

Survivors are two sons, Wayne Allen (Gail) of Jacksonville, Florida and James Allen (Melissa) of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Carolyn Hannah (Tommy) of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandsons, Richard Allen (Rosa) and Justin Allen; one granddaughter, Denise Allen; one great-granddaughter; 2 step-grand daughters; and many nieces and nephews.
