Memorial services for Lee B. Crews are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Crews, 89, of Brookhaven, died May 12, 2015, at Haven Hall Nursing Home. He was born in Eunice, Louisiana on Oct. 12, 1926 to Lawrence and Lena (Granger) Crews.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict War, and he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 12. Mr. Crews was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rai Crews; sons, Ronald Mitchell, Bryan Mitchell, Burke Crews and Cobert Crews; daughters, Melanie Hallman, Cynthia Rhoads, Martha Core and Dottie Moorefield; brother, Jerry T. Crews; 10 grandchildren, Nathan Mitchell, Cathy Kibodeaux, Christopher Kibodeaux, Cherie Goyne, Clair Mitchell, Chad Moorefield, Natalie Moorefield, Jessica Core, Stephen Core and Elizabeth Core; and nine great-grandchildren.
