Graveside services for Nancy Cain Whittington Richardson are Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery. Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Ken Parvin will be officiating.

Mrs. Richardson, 71, died on Monday, June 1, 2015, at her residence in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was born Aug. 14, 1943 in McComb to Frank Hugh Whittington and Harriet Purser Greer.

She was a retired artist and interior designer.

Preceding her in death were her father; her stepfather, Luther Lee Greer; brother, Frank R. Whittington; brother-in-law, Charles Owens; paternal grandmother, Grace Wells; maternal grandparents, George T. and Rita Davis; and a special uncle, Robert “Buster” Purser.

Survivors are her mother, Harriet Purser Greer of McComb; her husband, Gene Richardson of Johnson City; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Randy Sillyman of Johnson City; her sister, Millie Greer Owens of Brookhaven; two grandchildren, Savannah Lape and husband, Wesley, of North Carolina and Gabrielle Sillyman of Johnson City; two nieces and their spouses, Gina and Greg Jones of Brandon, Jennifer and Stan Thornton of Fairhope, Alabama; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
